IMPORTANT COURSE INFORMATION
This course is designed to support the knowledge and competency requirements for Facility Security Officers (FSOs) outlined in 33 CFR Part 105.

Unlike Company and Vessel Security Officer (CSO/VSO) training, the U.S. Coast Guard does not maintain a formal approval or certification process for FSO courses. Instead, MTSA regulations identify the knowledge and responsibilities FSOs are expected to possess to effectively perform their duties.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion documenting training consistent with the requirements of 33 CFR Part 105.
